Roccapesta
The Scansano area is increasingly gaining recognition in export markets as Sangiovese expression from warmer sites. Since 1974 Roccapesta has focused on Sangiovese and other Tuscan black indigenous varieties (Alicante aka Grenache, Ciliegiolo and the rare Pugnitello). Today Roccapesta is considered one of the top wineries in southern Tuscany, crafting organic wines for the mid-long ageing.

Bight straw yellow with golden reflections . Aroma a rich and fragrant bouquet with scents of ripe fruit (nectarines) combined with flowery notes of orange blossom and delicate savoury nuances. The palate of fresh mineral vein that balances the pleasant sweetness well the finish revealing hints of pink pepper and nutmeg.
